That’s a tough and very broad question to be honest.
If you are referring to the basic foundation of the Christian faith that their is an omnipresent and all-powerful Deity dictating or lives with the power to judge all of our choices in the sense of deciding whether we as humans can be innately good rather than living our lives completely enraptured by the presence of sin, then I would have to say that I am not sure whether or not I do believe in such a figure.
However, if you were to ask me if my beliefs could account for the presence of life and existence beyond our own, then I would say that you would be completely blind and narrow minded to believe that there is not.
As to my exact beliefs of whom or what is out there watching, viewing or potentially controlling us, I am still trying to figure that out. As for now, however, I choose not to let myself believe in a presence I have not yet experienced. Theoretically, it could be out there somewhere. But just as well, it could not be. For now though, I’m letting my life’s journey as a whole lead me to a definitive answer for that.
I guess this is my answer in short; I’m not sure what I believe in. But as the human condition dictates, our minds are eager for knowledge and understanding, causing us all to be curious about the possibilities.
Have you ever just looked at someone and thought, “I really love you”. They’re just talking or humming or watching a movie or reading a book or laughing or something, and there’s something about them in that moment that makes you think, “I just really love you”
